The More Calories You Burn… The More Fat You Lose!

It’s important to hold onto your lean muscle so you can burn more calories and body fat while you’re resting. But, you've probably been doing it wrong. You've probably been spending hours in the gym on the treadmill or running around the savannah in order to burn excess fat and calories.

The problem with long, boring cardio is… it actually BREAKS DOWN muscle mass to use as fuel during a workout! It’s true… long cardio sessions like jogging attacks your lean muscle because it needs energy and if there are no other source available… it will break down your muscle tissue to get it!

This is why losing muscle will actually STOP your body's fat burning capacity. And it’s one of the reasons long cardio sessions DON'T WORK for losing fat!

Look at long distance runners: Notice how they’re lanky, stringy, almost sickly looking. They’ve burned off most of their lean muscle from this jogging! In fact, one of the by-products of doing long cardio is that your body releases cortisol in response to the long bouts of stress.
